Jordan is a Certified Practicing Accountant and tax agent with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree.
Jordan offers over 15 years’ experience and he enjoys working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals. His expertise areas include tax & tax planning, compliance, business services and client accounting software solutions.
Outside of work Jordan enjoys playing hockey and spending time with his family.
Jonathon joined the practice in 2003 and received a Bachelor of Commerce from UniSA shortly thereafter.
He was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in June 2008 and attained his public practice certificate in 2016 and has been a tax agent since 2015.
Jonathon has deep expertise in a wide range of taxation areas – FBT, WET, CGT, GST, Income tax & state taxes and enjoys solving accounting problems.
His client services include accounting & tax compliance & advice to small and medium business.
Jonathon’s out of work hobbies include staying active including participating in team sports, travelling and financial markets.
John joined the practice in 2011 after receiving a Bachelor of Commerce from UniSA.
He became a full member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2015 and attained his public practice certificate in 2019.
John specialises in small business accounting and tax, individual tax returns and SMSF accounting and administration.
He enjoys spending time with his growing family, playing tennis and is a passionate Port Adelaide and Adelaide United supporter.
Kelly began working at the practice at the start of 2016 as a graduate accountant.
She completed her degree at Adelaide University in Accounting and Corporate Finance in June 2017 and became a member of Chartered Accountants in August 2020, attaining her public practice certificate in 2023.
Her experience includes general tax and accounting work, self managed super funds and ASIC compliance.
She enjoys spending time at the river during summer with family and friends as well keeping active whenever she can.
Courtney began working at Barossa Accounting and Tax in early 2019, completing her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) the same year and subsequently began full-time employment at the firm. Courtney became a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ in 2025, being awarded Merit certification in recognition her outstanding results.
Her experience includes general accounting & tax work, as well as work on self managed super funds and audit.
She enjoys baking, playing the piano and spending time with family and friends.
Trish began at Barossa Accounting and Tax in 1982 and is responsible for data entry and processing of many clients records, and also provides some onsite assistance to clients.
Trish still has a keen interest in the local netball community, but is spending more time driving around in a restored 68 Camero and listening to live music with her husband Paul.
Josie is one of the friendly faces you have become accustomed to seeing at reception. Her work involves office administration, corporate compliance work, secretarial work, data entry and general office administration. Josie has over 7 years experience in administration, she has completed a Certificate II in business, Certificate II Financial Services and is currently studying Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Josie has recently transitioned to an Assistant Bookkeeping role where she offers supports within SMSF administration.
Her interests include gardening, cooking and spending time with family & friends.
Kaitlin joined the team in 2021 as an Administration Officer. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, digital art and spending time with family.
Sureya joined our team in 2023 as an Administration Officer. She brings with her, years of experience working in administrative and customer service roles.
In her spare time, she loves to paint, explore the outdoors and spend quality time with her family both Barossa and interstate.
Emma joined our team in 2021 as our Practice Manager. Emma brings many years of experience within management, business growth and people management to the role.
Emma loves spending her spare time learning to play tennis and trying to stay active, spending time with family both in the Barossa and interstate.
Nathan joined the firm at Equity Flare in 2024 as the Lead Senior Accountant. Nathan is a registered tax agent, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and attained his public practice certificate in 2025.
Ashwini joined Equity Flare in November 2016 as a Graduate Accountant She is an experienced Accountant and Tax Professional. She is a Senior Accountant at Equity Flare. She migrated from India in 2013 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting and Finance to pursue her education. She holds a Masters’ degree in Professional Accounting and a Cert IV in Leadership and Management. Ashwini is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants. Her current role involves accounting and preparation of tax returns and GST returns for sole traders, companies, partnerships and Trusts. Ashwini is also undertaking further studies (part time) to expand her knowledge in taxation laws.
Welcome to the newest member of Equity Flare, DongXun Jin.
Dongxun or Jin, as he prefers to be called, moved to Australia in 2012 to continue his accounting studies and joined us at Equity Flare in November 2022 as Accountant. Jin holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. He is an associate member with CPA Australia and recently joined the CPA program to expand his knowledge in financial accounting, taxation and audit. His current role involves assisting the team to prepare BAS and tax returns for sole traders, companies, partnerships and trusts. He loves playing basketball and doing outdoor activities in his spare time.
